Greys Anatomy

Katherine Heigl is one of the main characters of Grey's. I really feel that if Grey's writers let the cancer in her character's brain take its course, they will lose many viewers.

Seriously, I don't feel that Ellen Pompeo is a leading lady enough to keep the show going. Katherine has definitely taken Ellen's lime light. And deservedly so...the emotion, empathy, and sincerity with which she plays Izzie is the reason the show has stayed on the air so long.

Of course, Patrick Dempsey also helps!

If Grey's writes Izzie off, they should definitely think carefully about adding other likeable characters who will help offset the exclusivety and unemotional element of Meredith and Christina. They are taking all the loveable characters off the show. First, Addison and now Izzie!!! There is also a rumor that T.R. Knight, aka George, is leaving as well.

And don't get me started on the new interns! Seriously...they are so boring! Little Grey is okay because she overlaps with the "residents" so she's got some redeeming story lines.
